I Guess This is Learning
Switching from social media to just a website, hell leaving social media all together has had its challenges so far. It has only been (as of typing this) 6 days.
I don’t really mean challenges its pretty easy, it has just had some differences I guess.
It'‘s funny the amount of people I had on social media that ignored everything I posted. The analytics showed, that is what really did it for me with leaving.
A post would have 30 views on Instagram with 0 interactions. 80% or higher from followers (103 was the highest follower count with more than half being bot accounts)
I am already starting to feel the same with this website. I didn’t really share much with anyone about this other than 2 close friends and my wife when I started this.
It wasn’t until my second Blog that I actually texted the link to people. The first time a few responses about how amazing or cool it was. By the time I shared the second link, a lot of no responses or left on read. I don’t get it.
I am not sure if I am just over sharing or if I am asking too much just wanting to share. I don’t know. I know based off of Instagram and Facebook yeah, people are just over it. I suck and I am fucking annoying. That’s what I have gathered.
Close friends, people I sometimes talk to. It just does not seem to matter.
I think that it is time for me to really just focus on what I am doing and let whatever happens happen. Other people have their own lives just as I do mine. Just because I want to over support someone in what they are doing doesn’t mean that I will get the same back.
Just because I do sessions for people doesn’t mean they are required to share. Seems odd but it is what it is.
I have a subscribe for updates option in the about. If someone wants to know what is going on with this website enough know about it they can visit the link or get email notifications when I update on here. I think I have done enough pushing with people.
This was really supposed to be a Blog about camera settings and color grading but I think that learning about the differences of leaving social media is an important thing to update on, plus this morning really just put me in a mood. It is crazy the amount of people that won’t even text you anymore. I have texted 4 people in the last week and I have started every conversation.
Anyways these are some of the photos that I will be using in the Color Grading Blog, I might work on that today, I just wanted to make this and talk to myself a bit. I will share a few bellow.
